When a new version of a standard is published, certificates issued against the old version remain valid only until the end of the transition period. Here are the deadlines currently running.

Certification glossary
The terms you will come across in the articles and in the quote — briefly explained.
- Accreditation
Independent confirmation by a national accreditation body that the certification body is competent and impartial.
More- Certification body
The organization that audits the management system and issues the certificate — in our case, CERTIND S.A.
More- Stage 1 and Stage 2
The two parts of the initial audit: a review of readiness and documentation, and an on-site check of implementation.
More- Surveillance audit
An audit carried out every year between certification and recertification to confirm that the system is working.
More- Recertification
An audit before the three-year certificate expires, which starts a new cycle.
More- Transition period
The period after a new version of a standard is published during which certificates to the old version remain valid.

A classification of economic activities that determines the scope of accreditation and which auditors may carry out the audit.
